We’ve heard many vegans say that cheese is something that they miss in their lives and finding a good substitute is difficult. Well, look no further, you can make amazing cheese at home using the recipes from the bestselling book The Non-Dairy Evolution cookbook by The Gentle Chef – Skye Michael Conroy.
Instructor Kathryn Hill will demonstrate how to make cultured cheese and block cheeses that melt… all dairy free! You’ll also learn the process for creating rejuvelac — a raw vegan fermented liquid made from sprouted grains that gives the cheese a sharp, tangy flavour.
We will make:
- Cultured chèvre
- Cultured extra sharp white cheddar
- Dill havarti
